Story

As a football club, Harrogate Old Boys want to help support Sands & in particular help to raise money in the memory of Jack Morrison, who died aged 6 days old in December 2019.

13 of our players have pledged to run 50 miles in March, donate and to spread the word amongst our families and friends. We've set an initial fundraising target of £300 but are hoping to exceed that!

Sands want to campaign for change and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the pain of losing a baby.

They say 'Whether you jog, walk or run to reach your 50 miles target, every step you take will help ensure no one faces the loss of a baby alone. Together we can continue do all that we can to stop families from experiencing this devastating tragedy.'

Thank you for reading and for your support!
