Andy: For some strange reason, Monica and I have decided that it would be a good idea to run the Great North Run in order to raise money for Leukaemia Research...I think Mon needs a new microscope or something!!!

The training is in full swing (if you're reading this on 12th September or afterwards!) and we're hoping to set some personal best times...but would settle for being able to walk again less than 3 days after the event!

Mon:  (the official spiel) Leukaemia Research is the only charity in the UK dedicated exclusively to researching blood cancers and disorders including leukaemia, Hodgkin’s and other lymphomas, and myeloma. They've funded my work for the past 5 years and are a totally wonderful and inspirational charity to work for!!
