A team of 33 superheroes from the convenience retail and wholesale sector are taking to their bikes for the 5th and final time to raise awareness and life-saving funds for MAG's work. The will cycle through extreme heat to cross Cambodia in six days.

Story

Every day, 19 people across the world are injured or killed by a landmine or unexploded bomb. Almost half of these casualties are children.

MAG (Mines Advisory Group) aims to save lives and rebuild futures by removing and destroying landmines and unexploded bombs from communities affected by war and violence around the world. Because of their work, people can not only live safely, they can farm safe land, build new houses and schools and children can walk without fear

MAG
is an important charity for PayZone's Managing Director, Andy Goddard and Commercial Director, Simon Lambert. So far, Andy has completed four rides for MAG across Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Sri Lanka and Simon joined last year in Vietnam. Unfortunately due to business commitments, they were unable to join the MAG Cycle Cambodia Challenge in February this year - but refused to be stopped! They decided to set themselves a cycling challenge - covering the same 500km distance - to raise money for the cause, right here in the UK, and that is where #Cycle4Change was born!

Across six separate 50km UK bike rides including Manchester, Birmingham, Scotland, the North East, London and Hampshire Andy and Simon are raising funds for MAG and food donations for the Trussell Trust. They will be joined on the route by their fellow MAG Cycle Challenge participants, by PayZone and Post Office colleagues and by other key supporters and sponsors.

Please donate now and help to support a safer future for millions of women, girls, boys and men.

About the campaign

A team of 33 superheroes from the convenience retail and wholesale sector are taking to their bikes for the 5th and final time to raise awareness and life-saving funds for MAG's work. The will cycle through extreme heat to cross Cambodia in six days.

About the charity

Every single day, 15 people are killed or injured because of landmines and other explosive weapons. Half of all civilian casualties are children. MAG finds and destroys these weapons to save lives and rebuild futures; helping people to grow crops, attend school and build homes.
