Story
Drew is one of my best mates, I’ve no idea how many lads holidays we’ve been on together but if it’s less than 15 I’d be surprised, we’ve known each other since we were kids and he even broke his karaoke duck at my wedding (which didn’t have a karaoke element to it until he made one getting the DJ to let him singi Faith) and then the rest of the night just kind of went that way.
In March 2023 at age 38 Drew was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer.
Stage 4 stomach cancer is real shit and Drew, his wife Amy and their daughter Ada (now aged 6) have been through a really tough time.
In October 2023, after 8 rounds and 6 months of chemotherapy, Drew's CT scan showed minimal cancer with 96% gone/shrinkage. This was a huge step forward for the family.
Although he is not cancer free and this is ongoing, he is currently not receiving chemotherapy, but is still receiving maintenance treatment every 3 weeks.
This weekend my friends from back home are part of a relay team who will spend 24 hours between us walking and fund raising.
I’d like to ask you if you wouldn’t mind contributing what you can to cancer research UK and sponsoring team Faith
Cheers
Andy
