I started running in 2015 after a "couch to 5k" course which takes beginners from scratch to running a 5k in 9 weeks.  During 2016 I ran a few races including my first half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 kms).  In January 2017 I set myself the challenge of running 25 Half Marathon races in a year.  As of 6th January 2018, the half marathons are complete!  Once I am free from injury I will start to work towards a full marathon to continue this challenge.

As it was "Movember" when I set this up, where Men's Health charities are given a focus, and also because I know or have known many people affected by this disease, I have decided to support a Prostate Cancer charity.
