It's been a funny couple of years.. (Not all bad) but a fair chunk has been pretty stressful to navigate for most. Lots of people have battled their way through the pressures that have been created by the global pandemic. While we are still very much in the battle against Covid-19, its clear that mental health is just as important as the more obvious physical challenges created around us by the disease, not forgetting the mental health challenges that have inevitably been exacerbated by measures such as lock down, people getting sick with the disease, Job losses, and sadly deaths. As such myself and a few good friends have decided to team up to take part in MIND's "600 for September" charity event.. We will endeavour to run, cycle, swim and generally navigate our way collectively through 600 miles of activity in the hope that you might donate to a very worthy charity We were looking at maybe doing a sponsored silence (like school days..) but given we have Toby Rake as a team member (for those of your who know him) Myself, Andy, and Dave thought that doing something we had chance of actually succeeding in would be more worthy of your donations.
