LIVERPOOL NIGHTRIDER 2018 · 14 July 2018

Freshfields Animal Rescue puts your values into practice. We believe all animals are of equal worth, and no healthy animal is ever destroyed. We rescue, rehome or release 2,000 cats, dogs, horses, farmed animals and local wildlife each year and work to prevent the problems. # No Animal Left Behind

Story

We've always been supporters of adopting animals - and will continue to support them in the future. #adoptdontshop

Freshfields Animal Rescue has been caring for abused, abandoned and unwanted animals across Merseyside and North Wales for over 30 years. Our passion for transforming animals' lives is matched only by yours! All year round our 2 Rescue Centres rescue, rehabilitate and rehome over 2,000 dogs, cats, horses, small animals, unwanted farm animals and wild birds. We are often the last chance for animals who have been turned away from other centres, due to significant medical or behavioural problems.

The Liverpool 2018 route: The Pier Head is our start, finish and main break point on the night. There are 2 routes, and the Wirral loop is the longest of the two, the loop we will be cycling. We will reach the Wirral by cycling through the Mersey Tunnel (Queensway) which will be  closed to all other traffic. It is also closed for a period of time to allow all cyclists to safely cycle back.

Loop 1 - The Wirral (55km approx)

  • Queensway Tunnel

  • New Brighton

  • Royal Liverpool Golf Club

  • Hoylake

  • West Kirby

  • Break at Caldy Sports Club

  • Port Sunlight

Any amount that you sponsor will be greatly appreicated. And if you can't afford to sponsor anything, maybe head down to Freshfields and adopt or foster one of their many animals in need - its not all about money!
