At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I joined Cambridge Cobras to race in the Elite Karting League and improve my skills as a karter. Through a challenging 2014 season, my skills gradually improved thanks to the fantastic and relentless support of my team mates.

When the opportunity came up to race, in aid of the Alzheimers Society and in memory of Dan Wheldon, at the Autosport Show (having read Autosport religiously as a boy) It was simply too good to turn down.

However, on this occasion, it's not all about winning/ finishing as high up as possible. It's about raising as much money as we can to help the Alzheimers Society continue their fantastic work. My Mum has already been helping me to fundraise off-line (as soon as she found out I'd be racing in this) and she's done a really fantastic job to get people's support for this cause.

Thanks to my Mum's help, this has got the fundraising effort off to a great start - It really outlines how much potential there is to raise a fantastic amount of money for this great charity, with your support our efforts can give the Alzheimers Society a sizeable donation in their quest to support those affected by this devastating condition. Thank you for reading and supporting.

Yours Sincerely,

Andy
