Story

In July I shall be taking part in Leg 1 of the Tall Ships Race 2011 from Waterford in Ireland to Greenock in Scotland.  As well as giving me the opportunity to sail on one of the most amazing vessels ever to grace our oceans, it is another opportunity to raise the profiIe of, and raise funds for, the Rainbow Centre for Conductive Education.

If you are not familiar with the work of the centre, please spend a moment visiting their web site at http://www.rainbowcentre.org.  It really is a fantastic place where miracles happen pretty much every day.

I have now completed the Clipper Round the World Race 09-10 covering 35,000 miles at seas, 14 races and a whole year away from friends and family.  Team Finland finished second overall and secured FIVE first place finishes from the fourteen races - more than any other boat in the fleet.

You have probably been directed here from my own race web site but if by chance you came here direct you can get an overview of the challenge by visiting http://www.meridian360.me.uk

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Rainbow Centre For Conductive Education Ltd will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many, many thanks for your support.
