Story
Since the City for my next Marathon has more To(e)’s in it’s name than Andy Misiara had to his name, I thought it appropriate to run the Toronto Marathon for Diabetes UK.
The charity I have chosen exists to improve the lives of people like Andy and to work towards a future without diabetes. Did you know that a mere £30 would have bought someone like Andy a second hand fridge to store his insulin in (he never owned one for anyone who didn’t know!) and £10 would have kept him in Drumstick Chewy Lollies for 3 months. Unfortunately it’s too late for Andy, and it’s a bit dubious as to whether it was the diabetes that actually killed him, but even the smallest donation can make all the difference in helping great guys like him have a better quality of life.
Please dig deep and give generously in memory of ANDY MISIARA – everyone’s mate.
Usual Disclaimer: I am in no way responsible for any content that may be construed as “sick” or distasteful as this is what comes from hanging around Andy for the best part of 20 years. So effectively it was him who made me do it. Just like that incident back in 2002 with the wig (sponsor me a tenner and I’ll tell you what happened………………)
