St John's Hospice provides care to patients with life limiting conditions throughout North Lancashire, South Lakes and parts of North Yorkshire. They have an in-patient ward, a hospice at home service, Clinical Nurse Specialists, bereavement support and a number of other vital services.

Following on from the sponsored walk we undertook in April from Huddersfield to Carnforth to raise money for our new junior samba goals for Carnforth Rangers, where we also gave a donation to the Hospice from our fundraising efforts, Dave and I have decided to continue our support of the Hospice by taking part in this years Jump for St Johns in September and to continue pushing ourselves out of our comfort zones to help a very worthy local cause which is dear to our hearts.
