Bath Half Marathon in aid of Designability

Bath Half Marathon 2020 · 15 March 2020 ·
If marginalised people are going to have their voices heard, we all need to stick together and support each other.
Despite the fact that I HATE running and AM NOT A RUNNER AT ALL, I'm doing the bath half to raise money for Designability.
Designability is an incredible innovative charity that honestly transforms the lives of disabled people and those living with long term health conditions. Always in response to what people tell them they need, this brilliant team of engineers and designers carry out research and create beautiful functional assistive technologies.
My favourite thing they've done is an Alzheimer's radio where it's has a preset playlist of their favourite music and looks like a beautiful old radio. You just lift a very obvious flap to start the music and press one button if you want to skip, and then put the flap down to stop. Having such a simple beautiful thing that can connect you to your past makes such a difference. They've worked with 250,000 people nationally and rely completely on donations.
It would mean SO much to me if you could donate even a fiver. It's a charity that really matters to me and a cause I really care about, and your money will make SUCH a difference to someone's life.
Love you all a lot xx
