Andy Knott MBE, CEO of League Against Cruel Sports, sprints to stop cruelty

Captain Tom 100 · 6 April 2021 to 6 May 2021 ·
My name is Andy Knott, and I’m the CEO of the League Against Cruel Sports. I will be sprinting across my local park 100 times between 30 April and 3 May to raise money to oppose cruel sports.
Nothing can match what Captain Tom did, but as a veteran of many conflicts myself, his example has inspired me to do something to help win the current battle against cruel animal sport. Please help me and my team give animals a voice.
In our recent history, the League has secured bans on hunting with dogs, increased legal protections for wildlife, and saved countless animal lives. We played a pivotal role in bringing the Animal Welfare (Sentencing) Bill to Parliament, increasing custodial sentences for the worst cruelty from 6 months to 5 years imprisonment, and, subject to Royal Assent, soon to pass into law.
If you choose to support me, every pound will go towards ending the cruel sports of hunting, shooting and animal fighting. Your support will help us protect animals from needless suffering.
Thank you.
