Welcome to my JustGiving page - thankyou for taking time out to visit. 

After my two previous entries in the London Marathon, I have now been fortunate enough to gain a place in the ING New York Marathon on Sunday November 6th 2011 and will be running in support of Cancer Research UK. 

As you may or may not be aware, my dear Father Steve Selemba sadly passed away from Cancer on August 18th 2009 aged 55 and it is for him and thousands others like him that I am running the Marathon for the second time.  Throughout his 18 month battle with Cancer, he was a true inspiration in the way he fought this terrible disease and I felt that the least I could do to honour him was to once again take part.  He was and always will be my sole inspiration in raising money for Cancer Research UK and I know he'd be proud to know that I was doing my bit to help.  By making a donation you can help fund research into Cancer and hopefully end the pain and suffering which affects so many people.

I would also like to dedicate this page to my Wife's Auntie, Linda Williams who also unfortunately lost her long battle with Cancer on August 19th 2009.  She really was a fantastic person and she again is a real inspiration in my taking part in the New York Marathon.

A special mention must also go to Mel Ibrahim is currently undergoing treatement - you're a superstar Mel!  Keep smiling.
