Thanks for checking out my fundraising page! On 7th November this year, I will be running the Reading half marathon as part of Team Launchpad! I've never run this kind of distance before, and am really looking forward to the challenge.

I chose to raise money for Launchpad after learning about the critical services that they offer to vulnerable people across Reading. Their services focus not only on preventing homelessness and providing housing, but also on helping to rebuild the lives of those affected by homelessness. This is done by focusing support in areas like education, training and employment.

Their work and life skills centre 'Launchpad 135' was fully refurbished in 2020 and is due to open this year - further helping to break the cycle of homelessness by providing a space for vulnerable people to learn new skills, build confidence, and get back into work.
