Friends of the Earth is 50 this year. Their vital work helps to raise awareness and protect the planet.. Over the years they have been instrumental in creating new laws to protect our water, wildlife, landscapes, climate and health. We are at a crisis point for the planet and like so many of us, I want to do what I can to support positive change. With the aim of helping to raise funds, I am committing to a minimum of 50 minutes crochet per day for 50 days, making blankets and hats which will be donated to refugees.  From 15th Feb 2021 to 6th April, I will post pictures of my work as I go along.  I am giving my time and the materials for free as a small contribution. I would be so grateful if you can make even a small donation towards supporting Friends of the Earth: working together, small actions and donations can have a great impact.
