Angel is having her haircut for the
Little Princess Trust on Weds 26^th  August 2020 at 16:00 at Andrew
Williams Hair and Beauty, this will be the first time Angels hair would have been cut since her birth.

This was instigated by Angel who in February 2020 asked if she could have her hair cut short, and she said she wanted to donate her hair to a charity that makes wigs for people undergoing cancer treatment.

We agreed, but then lockdown happened and there were no hairdressers open to,

1) cut her hair, and

2) Because of lockdown, charities were unable to receive hair donations.

Once we knew restrictions were being
lifted in July, we contacted the Little Princess Trust who sent us a fund
raising pack.

Our family hairdresser, Andrew Williams
 of Andrew Williams Hair & Beauty will be the stylist cutting our
daughters hair for the first time in her life.

Andrew has also helped us out in the past
by providing a work placement for our son so he could gain some work experience
by having something to add to his CV, to help with David’s career, in what is
now Lancashire Police.

David is currently volunteering as a
Special Constable also whilst undergoing study with a BA (Hons) Degree in
Public Services at Lancaster University with Blackpool and the Fylde University
campus, once David has graduated in 2022, he wishes to become a full-time member
of Lancashire police.

Angel is a shy and reserved person, but
taking this in her stride as it’s for charity.

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever.
