Story

Courtesy of Joanne and Candice, I find myself ‘running’ in the Great North Run!!!!

To see us, totally marathon - unready ladies attempt this is worth a couple of bob-if you can spare any in these cash strapped days.

The hospice is close to our hearts and any donation you can possibly make will be much appreciated.

In it’s own words….  “We are a charity providing specialist palliative and end of life care to local people living with a life-limiting illness and those close to them. These conditions include cancer, heart and lung diseases and neurological diseases such as motor neurone disease and Parkinsons disease. Our care strives to improve the quality of life for patients and their families by providing pain and symptom relief; practical, emotional, spiritual and social support; counselling and bereavement support services”.
