I am planning to swim the channel as part of a relay team with 4 others. I'm fairly new to this open water swimming craze, but am hoping it'll be sunny weather, calm seas and no jellyfish. 

Only one of us (Rob) is a seasoned swimmer, for the rest of us this is new and a bit ridiculous.
