This year Mencap in Kirklees will be celebrating  a special birthday.  75 years of supporting people with learning disabilities and their families. 

As a Trustee , I am committed to supporting the organisation to ensure the people we support  live the best life they can. 

I will be running in the Lisbon Half Marathon and will be raising funds for Mencap in Kirklees in their celebratory year.

As a local charity with our heritage going back 75 years our focus has always been, and will continue to be, improving the lives of people with a learning disability. We are proud to say we have always been led by people with learning disabilities and their
families, and we still are, working together co-producing everything we
provide.

All monies raised by me will go straight to providing much needed resources for the people with learning disabilities we support.
