NUMB is the feeling ..

The day my friend was diagnosed with cancer 

“Sorry it’s not curable we don’t have the answer “

The terror the reality, it cuts like a knife 

“...But you have to try and get on with your life”

She is determined and brave and doing what they say

We are now hoping that research will find a way 

As a friend ...pretty helpless is how you feel

The answer...positivity , action, support ...do something real 

Where there’s a will ...there are always ways 

So the challenge ...30 triathlons in 60 days 

My friend will take part a keen triathlete and tuff 

This cancer can ‘do one’ she’s made of stronger stuff 

So please give what you can ....big or small
