I'm walking the 40 miles of the Greensand Ridge over the weekend of 20th/21st July with my two eldest sons to raise funds for the organisation I work for.

CHUMS provides bereavement, trauma and emotional wellbeing support to children, young people and their parents/carers throughout Bedfordshire as well as offering crisis support to schools, communities and professionals.  There is a great need for the service among the community and I recently felt this very personally with the sudden death of Elliot Coan, the 16 year old son of my friends Terry and Michaela and brother to Georgia. 

CHUMS staff and volunteers have responded  to requests to support young people affected by Elliot's death and we will be remembering Elliot and his family with each step we take.
