At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

On New Year's Eve 2015 my Uncle very sadly passed away with, a form of dementia he was only 64.  He never got to retire, see his sons get married or watch his grandchildren grow up.

Dementia is a cruel disease and it was terrible to see my Uncle and family suffer.  I am  fundraising for this charity and want to raise awareness, this is not a disease which just affects the elderly but all ages (there are over 40,000 people under 65 with dementia in the UK.) Many people can live well with dementia with the right support and knowledge.

Please help me by sponsoring as much as you can for this great cause and for helping get the support and knowledge out there to those who need it!
