I am running the Great North Run once again for Meningitis Research.  Most people know that I had Meningitis 7 years ago whilst I was 5 months pregnant with Alexander. I received wonderful care from North Tees Hospital but they didn’t know how to treat me at first because I was pregnant and all of the usual drugs aren’t advised for use during pregnancy. The Meningitis Research Foundation work tirelessly to carry out research into such situations and I’d like to help them with their amazing work as they continue to offer support and advice with my lasting side effects.

I know we are in difficult times but if you are able to donate any amount at all I would be immensely grateful.
