From the 1st August 2020 I’m taking part in the Lullaby Trust’s activ80 challenge. I’m planning to walk for 80 minutes every day for the whole of August for this charity. 

The Lullaby Trust raises awareness of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), provides expert advice on safer sleep for babies and offers emotional support for bereaved families, in my profession I’ve had first hand experience of this, and recently gone through  it on a personal level, I know this charity does fantastic work and helps people when they need it the most when they go through such a life changing Traumatic event. 

This charity does not just offer support but it offers advice and guidance, carries out research, raises awareness and supports bereaved parents when they have another child. 

During lockdown, families have needed this support more than ever, as other services have been stretched or not readily available, therefore I am asking my friends and family to sponsor me to raise well needed funds for this  worthy charity.
