Story

Our dad died 30 years ago this October from a heart attack, aged just 45. To commemorate this, and to raise funds for the BHF, we have decided to walk ‘30 miles for 30 years’.

We will start the walk at sunrise on Beacon Hill in Leicestershire on Saturday 13th August, taking in places such as Bradgate Park, Martinshaw Woods, Bosworth Battlefield and the Ashby Canal as we walk our way back to Hinckley. We anticipate the walk taking around 12 hours, and will be glad of company along the way of anyone would like to join us!

Training has started in earnest, and all donations will be gratefully received to spur us on! We will be charting our progress through a dedicated Instagram page @30milesfor30years.
