Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!

Laura was a dedicated medical student, beautiful person and brilliant friend who was tragically killed while we were on our elective in Uganda in February 2007.  Her friends and family have set up this trust to raise money for medical and educational purposes with an emphasis on Africa, where she spent her final weeks working hard and making a real difference that was appreciated by all who were fortunate enough to meet her.  Our aim is that we continue to make a difference in her honour.

I, in the spirit of all that Laura held dear, organised a fundraising party with a live music, dj, good food, and dancing galore which was held on

May 17th 2008 @ Fox Function Rm, Fox Lane, N13 - 7.30 til late

We all had a great time for Laura, drank plenty and danced the night away!

We held a raffle with prizes courtesy of many friends' donations, including Keyto Zurter, Maceys cafe, and Joe Murray's The Fox, and auctioned off a signed Celtic jersey courtesy of Michael O'Hara and a signed Jaques Villneuves Formula One Cap courtesy of Mark!

I want to thank everyone who came and made the night such a success and to thank everyone who couldn't make it on the night but sent generous donations & supportive wishes.  Any cash donations will be added below over the course of the week so watch out for your entry if you donated and thanks once again!!
