My beautiful cousin was diagnosed with breast cancer on September 21st 2012. She had her surgery and reconstruction early in October and started her chemo weeks after. Although the treatment was gruelling Tania fought bravely and smiled throughout, never complaining. 

The  next step was five weeks of radiotherapy, which was a horrendous time, but again Tania was always upbeat and positive. 

Finishing the treatment on the Friday Tania, Derek, Dylan and Mia headed of to Turkey on the Monday for a well deserved break. On their return Tania looked fabulous and had had a wonderful holiday made even more special by the fact that her little nephew Jack arrived just as she stepped off the plane and she was so pleased that she would see him in the day he was born.

Within two weeks of returning home Tania was experiencing headaches and breathlessness and was admitted into hospital for tests . Ten days later it was confirmed that the cancer was now in the brain, liver and lungs. Everyone was absolutely stunned but once. again Tania was the bravest of all of us. 

Another week of high radiotherapy followed,as we thought to prolong her life, but to no avail and we lost Tania very very suddenly on 20th July and there has been such a void in our lives. We would be giving money to Maggies and Make a Wish Foundation.
