The macular society are the charity beating the fear and isolation out of sight loss by macular disease with world-class research, and the best advice and support for those affected. No-one should have their sight stolen from them, and nobody should go through it alone. 

An estimated 1.5million people in the UK are affected by macular disease. It affected people of all ages. 

This is a cause that's very close my heart. The macular society provide practical advice for all aspects of life, hold support groups for those affected, create educational resources to help explain diagnoses and fund cutting edge research into sight-loss disorders. They continue to remind me that I am not alone and continue to help manage the fear and isolation associated with macular disease.
