The Family Marathon 2019 · 29 June 2019 ·
We’re running The Family Marathon because 2019 has reminded us so painfully of how precious family is.
Just a couple of months ago we lost a brother and an uncle and we're heartbroken that our family will never be the same again.
On 29th June we'll run in memory of Darryl, with him in our hearts, and we'd like to raise some money that will be used to help children grow up with the people who love them the most, their families.
Paul, Carrick, Ava and I together with my remaining brother Craig believe that children need families.
As a team we’ll each take on part of the challenge to run a marathon distance between us; running as many one-mile loops as our legs will allow, until together we conquer 26.2 miles together.
We’re doing this because family is important and we want to recognise the power of family by running together.
With your support we'll raise funds for Hope and Homes for Children and help get children out of orphanages and into loving families.
Thank you
