On 17th July 2011 I'm jumping out of a plane from 15,000ft above Lincolnshire, hopefully attached to somebody who's got a parachute and knows how to use it...

My nephew (pictured) underwent a 7 hour operation at 9 weeks old as a result of a condition called biliary atresia causing a blocked bile duct. Thanks to the work of the Children's Liver Unit at Leeds General Informary he's full of beans now but there's every chance he'll need a liver transplant some time in the future.

This 10-strong group skydive has been organised by a friend of the family to raise funds for the CLU ward, and to aid the research of the Children's Liver Foundation into this condition for which no cause is known.

This is my personal fundraising page and I'm funding the jump myself so every penny donated here will go straight to the charities - 50% each way.
