Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am hoping to raise £250 for the lovely lot at Trinity Homeless projects so they can continue to provide their very much needed service to some of the most vulnerable people in our area.

Being homeless is something that could happen to any of us through the loss of a job or the break up of a relationship. At this time of year when we are preparing for our Christmas fun please think about donating £5.00 or £10.00 to my fundraising to help Trinity continue their amazing work.

I can't make the BIG Sleepout this year so I encouraged the lovely Beavers at 1st Uxbridge to help me to raise funds. They eagerly agreed to sleep outside to experience what it is like for the homeless who only have a cardboard box and a sleeping bag for warmth. These fabulous 6-8 year old children created their own homes for the night with DHL boxes, using large plastic bags and parcel  to waterprooof them. They slept outside for a few hours and definitely felt the effects of a cold winters night. We cam inside but they insisted in remaining in their boxes.

Each child has been asked to raise at least £50. They have already baked some fabulous cakes  in October and made  £379.00!! We hope to achieve a final figure of OVER £1,000!!!  So please dig deep and help me get my £250 smakeroo's.
