Story

A couple of years ago we lost my nan. She had been suffering from Alzheimer's for several years and I spent those years slowly noticing her deterioration each time I saw her until she was barely herself anymore. I want to run the Oxford Half Marathon to help raise some money to care for other Alzheimer's patients and to help find a cure for this disease which I've seen the effects of first-hand.

Any donations will be more than appreciated!

Every three minutes, someone develops dementia. We can beat it, but we can't do it alone. Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading dementia charity. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted in their community. Every penny you donate is making sure we can be there for people affected by dementia.
