Story
Thanks for taking the time and effort to visit my JustGiving Page. I am doing a Readathon in the school holidays where I have to read as many books as I can for charity. Last year I did the charity PEAS, used JustGiving and raised £200!!! Let's see if we can do that again this year!!!
The charity I've chosen to sponsor this year is WWF, World Wildlife Fund. The choice was difficult this year between these three charities: Survival International, WWF, and Into University. Last year the choices were PEAS, Westminster Club, and Refugee Youth. Because the choice of charities this year was very difficult. I was nearly tempted to go for Green Thing, which is what I would do if I cannot choose.
The World Wildlife Fund helps protect animals that are endangered. Humans are cutting down the rainforests that such wonderful creatures, like orang-utans, leopards and pandas. Killing cows, sheep, pigs, chickens and for what? Meat. Ourselves.
Humans are acting rather selfishlly towards animals and I think WWF is a great way to stop humans killing animals.
Thank you
Angus George Colwell
PS. Exciting news: I've read 12 books! And, thank you to everyone who gives up their time to donate.
