London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·

The Children’s Society’s London Marathon team is raising awareness and vital funds for children in this country who aren’t safe, loved or able to cope.

Story

Too many children in this country are facing multiple problems, leaving them overwhelmed. They feel alone, unloved and don’t know where to turn. By supporting The Children’s Society, you’re helping these children get the help they urgently need.

This amazing charity helps children and young people from all different backgrounds and see such a wide range of problems and complications. They see children suffering from abuse and neglect, sexual exploitation, mental health issues, they support young carers and help young refugees and migrants. This incredible charity does so much and it needs your help so that they can support more children in need.  I want so desperately to help end the pain and suffering of vulnerable children. So reach out into your pockets so that the Children's Society can reach out to more children that need their help so greatly.

Running the London marathon is no easy task and I know the challenge I'm about to take on. Trust me I'm not doing this for the fun of it, even though I know this will be an incredible experience. I'm doing the London marathon because its one of the biggest fundraising events in the U.K and it catches peoples attention and hopefully will make you want to donate (probably because you feel sorry for me and think I'm totally stupid). The children's society has given me a goal of £2000 to raise  so  please, please, please get on board and support me throughout this journey and also please donate whatever you can so that we can continue to provide help to vulnerable and unprotected children up and down the U.K

Thank you
