Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity. We’re striving for a cure, by revolutionising the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia.

Story

This year I'm celebrating my 60th Birthday and it's got me thinking about how lucky I am to be fit and healthy. I recently lost my Mum to Vascular Dementia and it was absolutely heartbreaking to see her decline. It's spurred me on to raise money for the vital work of Alzheimer's Research.

So, in September ,my daughter Olympia and I trekked an enormous 165km of the Camino de Santiago to raise as much money as possible for Alzheimer's Research UK.

It's disease which affects so many people and puts immense emotional and financial strain on families all over the country.

I can't do much, but I can do this one small thing to make a contribution and I hope you'll help me on my way.

Lots of love, Anita xx
