Thames Path Challenge 2014 · 13 September 2014 to 14 September 2014 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

My lovely Dad has been recently diagnosed with this disease, my Auntie has suffered for over 10 years, along with my husbands Grandfather. It deeply saddens & affects the whole family. It slowly changes the people we once knew to be so active, life loving & strong into being dependant on wives, husbands, carers & other close family members for basic human needs. My memories of these people become more precious each day.

To all my friends & family, I pledge to raise money to support the Alzheimers Society...any donations will be greatly appreciated.
