To all our friends and family

As you are all probably aware our dad, Ray Bunger, was diagnosed with bowel cancer earlier this year, after suffering with ulceritive colitis for nearly 20 years.

Dad had received the most amazing hospital care, during his stay at Medway Maritime hospital, Kent and is due to start chemotherapy in the next month.

I am sure I am speaking on behalf of my friends and family, when I say you never appreciate the support and care from the hospital staff and charities, until you are dealing with it first hand.

As a way of our appreciation so far, my family and friends thought it would be a great challenge for us to do the 12K walk on 4 September 2011.  I am sure the competitive streak will definitely be out on the day.

We are setting ourselves a combined goal of £2000.00 for now but I am sure the goal posts will keep moving. 

So please be generous and support a worthy cause and why not come and join us on the day.  Supporters and water carriers will be greatly appreciated!!!
