I am a great admirer of the tireless work The Mayhew Animal Home do and seeing as they are totally reliant on donations, and receive nothing from the government, I decided to make my climb mean something and raise awareness and money for such a great charity.

Helvellyn is a mountain in the Lake District. At 950 metres above sea level it is the third highest peak in both The Lake District and England.

A few years back I made a video to raise money for The Mayhew after a terrible dog cruelty case. I raised over £1500 in memory of Prince. The video received over 10,000 hits and is still raising money. RIP Prince.
