Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As well as benefiting my overall health, I am doing this challenge in memory of my son, Fabian, who sadly passed away aged 12, due to complications shortly after being diagnosed with sudden onset of Type 1 Diabetes.

Fabian's best friend Danny is running FOUR half marathons in the course of four months,  #Four4FAB, culminating with the Glasgow 1/2 marathon in October for Diabetes UK in his memory, too. He is my inspirations for taking part in this challenge and my way of supporting him and the valuable work that Diabetes UK is doing in ultimately trying to find a cure for diabetes.
