This Ramadhan I have decided to join Akke Rahman in helping to protect and save thousands of families from the devastating effects of natural disasters, conflict and illness across the globe.

I will be running and walking to hit 300,000 steps whilst fasting Insha’allah to raise money for the people in India, Yemen, Syria, Palestine, Pakistan and Bangladesh who are in dire need of our support.

There is a medical crisis happening in India right now.

There have been over 17.3 million cases of Coronavirus in India, and recently, they recorded their highest number of deaths in over 24 hours – 2,104.

Hospitals don’t have enough beds for all the patients coming in, and there is not enough oxygen to go around.

Penny Appeal is distributing hygiene kits and nutritious food packs to help vulnerable people recover and cope with the impact of the current climate.

War, famine, disease, poverty & climate change have immobilised the Rohingya & Uyghur refugees, internally displaced people in Yemen, Syria and Gaza. Penny Appeal needs your support to be able to deploy life-saving medical aid, food, clothing, sanitation and shelter to those who have been left incredibly vulnerable.
