Event: The Big Ride for Africa 2020, from 23 September 2020 to 24 September 2020
Taking on The Big Ride for Africa is a huge endurance challenge, however, by taking on the challenge you will be helping to transform the lives of children and their families living in some of the worlds toughest places.

Story

As some of you may know I have changed jobs during lockdown. I am now with Liberty Global, who has partnered with Street Child in order to raise money for this great organisation (see below for further details).

As part of this year's fundraising efforts, I have taken it upon myself to do a half marathon and I would greatly appreciate your support for this worthwhile cause.

My wife would also be grateful for your support in helping me lose this "lockdown weight" (a large portion of which existed pre-lockdown).  In fact, she is so enthused about this challenge that she has pledged to match 25% of every donation of £100 and over.

Street Child

We are Street Child. We believe every child deserves the chance to go to school and learn.Currently, 125 million school-aged children are out of education worldwide. Millions more children are in school but failing to learn. Street Child believes that achieving universal basic education is the single greatest step that can be taken towards the elimination of global poverty.
