I decided to enter the Great South Run to raise money for The Rowans Hospice in Purbrook Hampshire. My mum died there in comfort and with dignity 8 years ago.

My aim is to raise £400. I have enlisted help as now my husband Clive is running the GSR with me and my daughters Poppy and Jessica are doing the Mini Great South Run (1.5k) too!

I have just completed a 10k practice run in aid of Katherine House Hospice in Staffordshire which I managed to do in 54 minutes!!
