Story
In July 2012, I was diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Thankfully, after many months of treatment - I was given the good news that I was in remission in January 2013. Joining FFS the following year was a real turning point for me, in many ways. I found that I had the ability to work on my fitness and my physical health, at my own pace. The cancer had floored me, but FFS provided an environment of understanding and motivation - which helped me improve my strength, and progress gradually. That's why I'm delighted to take part in the FFS Stands up to Cancer challenge.
