I cannot bear the thought that men, women and children will be even more at risk from controlling partners and parents at this time of lockdown. The desperate situation many people are in has just become so magnified that it's terrifying. WWDAS are still supporting people in abusive situations despite the lockdown. For many children school is their safe place, they no longer have this. Myself and most other teachers are now no longer the extra pair of eyes that some children need to look after them or their parents. The charity receive no government funding despite being an essential service. ANY donation you are able to give would help ease the pressure just that little bit.
