Church Tower Abseil · 27 September 2015

Dundry's spectacular tower is a famous landmark from Bristol and for miles around! People have been coming to worship here for over 500 years. We are currently working on a major project to offer modern facilities in the church which will make the building more flexible for the community.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Dundry Church is a famous landmark needing money to literally "Raise the Roof". The church is closed until the roof can be made safe. Jean resides in Dundry and Ann used to live there so we would very much like to raise money to ensure that this iconic landmark lives on for centuries more.

On 27th September there will be refreshments and stalls to enjoy while you watch the abseiling . There are many others braving the tower including Charles Roberts the Rector..... So plenty to watch

We are descending in the afternoon so if you would like to see two dangling grannies do please come along and give us a cheer.

By the way the tower is safe in case you are wondering!!!
