Story

On Thursday 28 March 2019 I will be stepping out across burning hot coals at Fire Walk London raising money for Rainbow Trust Children's Charity. When serious illness affects a child, family life is turned upside down and time becomes more precious than ever. Rainbow Trust pairs each family with a dedicated expert Family Support Worker to help them face and make the most of each new day. Families are overwhelmed with grief and worry about their childs illness and getting them to hospital appointments that may be hundreds of miles away, all the while trying to keep life as normal as possible for their other children. Our Family Support Workers support the whole family with whatever they need so that families dont have to manage alone. £10 could pay for a basic sensory toy to entertain a seriously child with special needs. £26 is enough to pay for an hours practical and emotional support. £44 could buy a memory box, a wonderful way to capture memories of treasured times.
