We are a group of Mums from St. Thomas' Primary School in Sevenoaks, who are preparing to swap running around after our children for one morning, in order to run around a park to try to fundraise for a very worthy cause! Since most (not all!) of us have been strangers to formal exercise in recent years, if anyone had told any of us three months ago that we would be doing this, we all would have laughed in your face. However, we have been inspired by a wonderful family in our class, who despite having experienced personal tragedy, are continuously trying to help others that have helped them through some very sad times, and we would love to help them do that too. Demelza is a charity that does amazing work with sick and terminally ill children, and provides tireless support for their families in very difficult times. Please do spare us a few pounds if you can, every little really does help in the wonderful work that they do in bringing a smile to a little one's face.

And of course, we are prepared to bring a smile to your face in return by providing you with some very funny photos of us in all our beetroot, hot and sweaty glory, when the race is over :-)
