Hi Everyone,

In October I will be summiting , Canoeing, Gorge walking, Abseiling and rock climbing. All in aid of children being given the ‘Right to Play’  

Yes, I really am!

Laugh if you wish, from the mental image this evokes, even I had to chuckle at the idea of my short legs and oversized backside wobbling away, or strapped in to harnesses and even funnier my over ample frame in a wetsuit!

Stop laughing and read on please!

So rather than it being 'for some a jolly fun weekend', it will be a great challenge, taking me out of my comfort zone proving to all you really can do anything you put your mind to.

Why are you doing it for Right to Play you may wonder?

As some of you know, and for those of you who don't being a Nursery Nurse I have worked with lots and lots and lots of children.  My experience has taught me that one of the greatest ways a child learns is through play. As I am sure you will agree every child should have this wonderful gift but it should also be a human right to play. No matter how hard an adult's life is every child deserves a proper childhood with play and sports helping shape their characters and understand positive social rather than hostile interaction. Alas this is not the case in far too may less wealthy communities and countries the world over.

I simply wish to help work towards such a worthy goal. I believe Children are the future of this world and we owe them this chance to have a positive childhood.

I am asking you kindly to help me achieve this wish by sponsoring me.
