Most of you will know that my relationship with running has been influenced by my decision to remain with a mindset that makes it more difficult. Well this charity has woken me up to move beyond myself. My first view of the gardens created by Horatio's gardens left me breathless and overwhelmed. 

Being a nurse, I cannot over emphasise to you enough the desperate need for such spaces in NHS centres. They provide for relatives, patients and staff a location to breath, to be, to be healed by the natural environment. Healing is so much more than medicine and formal treatments. It requires environments that nurture. Horatio's Gardens provide this.
